Christmas Eve Worship 2017
Candlelight Services: 3:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m.
There will be no morning services on Christmas Eve.
Dear Church Family and Friends:
In the iconic King James Version of the Christmas Story, as told in the Gospel of Luke, we learn that certain shepherds, abiding by their sheep by night, were confronted by an angel who told them to: “Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.”
This year the church has been blessed with the wonderful task of bringing “good tidings of great joy.” This year culminates with the joyous celebration of the birth of the Prince of Peace!
Without your generosity this past year, the church would cease to be able to continue to bring these “good tidings of great joy.” Without your support and commitment to the church and its ministries, we would not be able to provide a powerful witness of Jesus Christ in Lockport, New York and beyond. Without your continued support, our church would not be able to continue the important work of Jesus Christ.
Without your commitment, there would be no more Christmas Eve Candlelight Services, no more Christmas Carols surrounded by the beautiful Tiffany Windows, and no more Deck the Halls. Without your dedication, we would have no baptisms or weddings or memorial services. You allow all of this to take place and your Christmas Gift will allow us to do even more to bring “good tidings of great joy.”
Thank you so much for your generosity! May you and your family have a Merry and Blessed Christmas! And have a grand and joyous New Year!
Peace & Joy!
